Hi All,

We are heading to Florida in October and have booked through alamo a 'premium suv'. this is listed as BMW X3 or similar.

has anyone booked this class? if so what did you end up with?

i'm interested what the 'or similar is'

I think so, he had a Cadillac on hire and upgraded at the desk to the Maserati , total cost £1050 for 17 nights, 2 drivers max insurance drop off empty etc

We recently had a vehicle in this class and it was a 7 seater VW Atlas. Lovely to drive and we were very pleased with it.

Not exactly what the OP asked though. The Maser isn't in the X3 class, it's an upgrade.

Alamo offered to upgrade my Standard SUV to an Audi Q5 for $150 for 10 nights last month. It started at $200. I declined as I drive nice cars at home so having a flash car on holiday holds little interest. In the end they gave me a Titanium Edge SUV with full leather, Android Auto etc, which was actually very nice and this cost me total (not upgrade, what I paid) £280 all in for 10 nights.
So back to original question- they have Audi Q5s as at least some premium SUVs.

thank you mate,

to be honest i drive a new bmw here daily, i would be happy with an X3 as the controls / layout would be familiar. but i could live with an Audi.
being my first time driving in florida i'm trying to make it as easy as possible.
