Illuminations tips

Hi all!

Fully getting into the finer details of my plan now! Last time we went it was still Dreams (which I loved!) so this is a new show to us. I can't really remember where we watched it from as we saw it a few times on that trip. I'm guessing that it's still at park closing time but any tips on a good spot to watch would be great.

Actually likewise for the parade, the times guide I've found says 5.30 is that right?

If you face the castle, to the left are a few benches near a popcorn stand. We sat here and it was fab.

Brilliant, I think we will try and stake out a spot early. It would be great for my mum if she could sit

Krispy s’mores have it spot on... find the hut that is the control room on the left hand side of the hub (as if you’re facing the castle)... no trees and a great view.

We stood close by and it was great, ,although get there an hour before. It’s not organised and at best chaotic!

Illuminations?

we have just got back, and we saw this on wednesday night.
it was packed in the park
the benches were occupied 2hrs before illuminations started.
we got into the hub about 50 minutes before and if we had left it 10 minutes later we would not have got into the hub area.
(for the record we still didn't have a great view! )

Thanks everyone, going to scope it out and with any luck i'll magically lead my family to a great spot!

How do people rate it compared to Dreams? I loved that show so i'm excited to see the new one
