Please tell me about Celebration?

Busy making plans and we amazingly have a free day and DW suggested having a look around Celebration. I'm not 100% enthused by the idea as I'm not really sure if it's worth the visit or not. Is it worth a look?

Unfortunately a lot of the nice shops seem to have gone recently but its still a lovely town. It always reminds ne of Desperate housewives or The Truman Show!
Theres a few nice places to eat or just have a drink and a lovely lake with rockers to sit on. The ice cream parlour is lovely!
I would def go if you have a few spare hours but its not much more than that.

It’s a pretty little town but I’d agree with Floridasgirl it’s not a major destination. We quite like to go for Brunch at the Market Cafe and a little walk along the lake.

Hi it's nice for casual lunch /dinner, go for walk at the lake and have a snack but it's only a couple hours. Could possibly be good for a morning or evening on another day that you have planned

We enjoyed hiring bikes for a couple of hours and cycling around the lakes and the multi million dollar homes. We did it on our second visit to Florida when we weren’t trying to cram as much in

We always try to fit in a visit to Celebration this time we went one day about 5 pm for ice cream followed by a couple of sangrias at Celebration Town Tavern, then returned a couple of days later in the morning to hire bikes. It was lovely and peaceful we then had lunch at the tavern. I would recommend if you want a bit of down time.

We love celebration. It is just a wee town but we like to have lunch at the town tavern then walk round the lake and have ice cream. So relaxing. Go at weekend and go the old town Kissimmee afterwards. great wee day

Hiring bikes is definitely worth doing if only to take a nose at all the posh houses!

We always go for the evening after being at parks during the evening. A wee walk, a sit at the lake and then a meal in the Tavern, and ice-cream if we still have room, a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
