Almost time - Aug 14 night 3 generations
Hi
Just looking for any improvements / enhancements to my plan. We are a party of 2 teens, their parents , grandma and great aunt (who's coming to keep granny company). It will be our 3rd trip (1st for grandma and great aunt). We are staying in a villa so everyone has their own space. I know people will split up and do their own thing a lot of the time in the parks but I wanted to have the outline of a plan. Will remain flexible though. We have 5 day MYW tickets for Disney. Day 1 arrive, meet daughter at MCO (shes already in the U.S) pick up car, travel to villa Day 2 rope drop at AK. F.P for Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro safari and FOP. Leave at around 4 pm and click and collect food shop on way back. Day 3 MK early start. FP for splash mountain, Jungle cruise and haunted mansion. Lunch at BoG. Aiming to stick to frontier land, adventure land and then have lunch and watch 2 pm parade before leaving park. Day 4 (a saturday) - airboat and lunch out Day 5 (sunday) rest and tea out Day 6 Kennedy space centre with tea out on the coast before driving back Day 7 breakfast out and a bit of shopping (Ross etc) before back for a pool / villa day Day 8 MK for the afternoon and evening. Tomorrow land / fantasy land. FP for Space Mountain, Peter Pan and 7 dwarfs mine train. Stay for Wishes / fireworks. Day 9 - Epcot. Food and Wine festival. Full day if possible. Fast passes for mission space, frozen and spaceship earth. Hope we can do a full day and stay for eat to the beat / illuminations. Day 10 - Universal studios for teens, DH and me. Rest day for grandma and great aunt (they don't want to do universal) Day 11 - Saturday - shopping Day 12 - rest day and out for tea Day 13 - IOA for teens and parents. Rest day for grandma and great aunt (they don't want to do universal) Day 14 - Hollywood studios - fast passes for Toy Story mania, haunted mansion and rock and roller coaster. Dinner reservation at Mamma Melrose. stay for fireworks. Full park day if possible as we have 2 big star wars fans in party. Day 15 - pack, lunch and travel to airport Comments welcomed |

My first comment would be Day 3 - I believe this is a morning EMH day at MK, so you may find that crowds will be higher and queues longer due to that. I realise, at this point, it's probably too late to do anything about that. We'll be there too that day and also have a lunch reservation at BOG
Again, with your Epcot day, there is EMH that morning too. However, as that's the fist day of Food & Wine, unless you were to switch it with the Friday, that's probably your best option for Epcot. We will be at Epcot on the 30th as well, although we won't be staying for Eat to the Beat probably.

Thank you, touring plans is predicting a quiet day at MK early on due to MNSSHP. Fingers crossed that's the case. I didn't know EMH was available for our Epcot day, thanks for drawing my attention to it. I dont think we will change the day we go as we are looking forward to the food and wine festival and I have heard weekends can be rather busy. As you say, may be worth sticking with the plan. Also, have a fabulous time - not long to go now
