The Club room will go into the private dining area starting Thursday 23 August.
The refurb will take 2 months.

Found this from a few days ago

folks, just received email from the ClubConcierge informing me the Club lounge is undergoing renovations and has been temporarily moved to the Private dining area inside Islands Dining. It says its conveniently located on ground floor just steps from water taxi entrance and pool.

hi, received an email from Clubconcierge this week, no its not on the 7th floor its a private room within the Islands Dining Room.

A bit of a bummer.Instead of a hop,skip and a jump along the corridor to the club room now down 6 floors

Sadly you won’t be able to just come out of your room and pop into the club room, but I think it will work on the ground floor. Just not as convenient for some!

On another note.. my card worked at 6pm in the lift to the 7th Floor, but would not open the lounge door!

Oh dear,thats a bit of a pain in the backside😕now got to drag kids downstairs and then back up again for teeth brushing after breakfast (they won’t brush before they have eaten as everything tastes “funny”)

I’m waiting for VH to inform me, it’s not going to be as convenient with three of the party with mobility issues, buy I’m not complaining I’m sure we will manage.

Glad to hear they're doing a refurb, we were then in October last year and it was definitely starting to look 'tired' especially when compared to the makeovers in the bedrooms.
Anyone know what the refurb will consist of?
Looking forward to getting back... just don't know when.
