Nope, they’re the same. I saw a Scottish Gas branded BG van on the M25 last year. I wondered if he’d got very lost...

Thanks, as per my original post I have already been in contact with a solicitor, I was just looking for other opinions (and an opportunity to vent my frustrations), since it was the weekend and I couldn't do much else until today!

Well by all means vent and ask, just take what people say with a grain of salt as I see bad 'advice' given on various forums by people with good intentions regularly and I just hope people don't follow it. Good luck with getting your problem sorted.

How frustrating. The exact same thing happened to us.
We had to fork out for a new one unfortunately.

I do think it’s poor service not to explain the 5 days to a first time buyer
