Sorry I didn't mention shops. A couple of miles north on US27 a Walmart. At Rolling Oaks where all the restaurants are there's a Super Target. A mile or less south at Berry a Publix and another just as you join 192 (this side of Walmart)

At Berry Town Center on US27 there’s Applebees, IHOP, Bamboo Wok (nice take-away) and possibly a couple more that we’ve never used.

Not an expert on Championsgate but there’s another Millers, Red Robin, Chillis, Wendys, Tijuana Flats and a newish place called First Watch.

Down near Posner on the US27 there’s Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, Dennys and Perkins. A bit further down Ovation Bistro which is well worth trying.

Our personal favourites are Longhorn and Texas for steak, Carrabbas’s for Italian and either Red Lobster or Bonefish for fish. Again in our opinion Manny’s at Haines is far better than the one on US192.

Thank you so much, i will be looking into all of these places - possibly not hooters though 🤣

I'm certainly no prude and we have had the occasional burger from Culvers (was that in my post?) but if anywhere has to rely on cleavage to sell food it doesn't go on our list of must dos.

If you're energetic there's a tennis court and a small playground..we liked walking around for a nosy at all the villas, the locals were all really friendly.

I remember being 13 - it was only 59 years ago.

The villa i am looking at looks out onto the tennis court/playground. That was one thing i was thinking about in regards to privacy when we are in the pool, from the photos it looks like the path runs right alongside the villa - do you remember the tennis area being busy at all?

We enjoyed it last year. Stayed in Hakuna Matada. Easy to get to parks,I4, Universal etc. As posted, loads of restaurants nearby, on 192 or at Berry Town Center. Also was a straight 20 min drive up to Clermont to try Aldi as hate Walmart tills and the coupon hell. Looking to stay in this area again (perhaps regal palms or highlands reserve for the on site facilities) next October.
