Norwegian Airline Upgrade

Hi all,
Can anyone help?
We booked our holiday via Ocean Florida.
After booking our holiday we decided we would like to upgrade our flights to Premium Class.
We contacted Norwegian Airlines and found out the upgrade was £220 per person however we could not upgrade through them as we booked through a travel agent.
NA did advise our travel agents should contact their support team.
I contacted Ocean Florida they said it was not possible to upgrade but said they would call the Support Team and let us know.
They called back and advised the cost to upgrade would be £1022 per person!
They also said when we get to Checkin we could try to upgrade at this stage.
Norwegian advised we still could not upgrade at checkin as we have booked via a third party.
Travel agents we have used in the past have been able to make changes to bookings.
Has anyone ever experianced a similar problem and if so did they manage to upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated as I would rather know now that we cannot upgrade than find out the day we fly.

can you log onto NAs website with your booking reference number and surname? I booked ours through opodo who gave me the reference number and have since registered on NAs site but as our flights were already booked I still have to use the booking reference and surname to go into details of our flights and have options of adding/adjusting.

I tried but the upgrade option does not appear. So frustrating 😤

Just had a look, think you need to log in using booking number and surname then scroll down past flight details but above passenger details there should be an option to get a one time code. Without the code I have the option to upgrade or bid for upgrade on this page however once signed in with the code you may be able to adjust your booking.

Hi thank there are no other options apart from Car Hire, Hotel etc.

It will be the class of ticket that Ocean Florida have booked you in.
That price difference will be the Economy ticket in the right class for upgrading and the upgrade price

Think you're right there Al, we fly with Norwegian next month, £318 inc 40kg luggage pp, seats and food (so an odd package) and we can't upgrade via Norwegian site or AP either. Maybe temped to see whether they offer at check in.

Wish we had known this when booking as I could have booked the flights myself via the NA website at the same price. I will be asking if I can upgrade at Checkin although I am not very confident 😖

That's annoying, mine were way cheaper than booking direct so can't complain.
