How about the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club and catch the illuminations then make your way over to the Boardwalk, or have your birthday celebrations a day later and book brunch at the Cali grill and return at night for the fireworks (they give you a receipt which allows you to return in the evening)

i like the idea of yachtsman as we havent been there before, i almost would prefer to watch Illuminations as we havent seen Happily Ever After yet so to go to California Grill would be amazing as that is where we spent our wedding night - but as i havent seen HEA yet i am thinking maybe it would be better right at the castle in person ... or would it not make any difference? xx

I had the most perfect birthday last year.

We booked a jet ski tour in the morning and it was just th two of us which was amazing. Then OH had booked us a couples full body massage at the GF! Worth every penny. We then went to MK which was quiet because it had just finished raining, but they had delayed the parade because of the rain so we managed to catch that before heading to BOG for dinner.

Met up with friends for cocktails in DS for the evening. Perfect day!

Now to do something similar for DF this year!
