Meeting Santa at Disney Springs
Hi
We're finally doing our long threatened Christmas trip to Orlando this year, and I've just noticed that Santa appears at DS throughout November and December. We've got a 2 year old and whilst I still think he's unlikely to have a clue what's really going on with the whole Christmas thing I thought it would be great for his first meeting with Santa to be over in Orlando. Having looked at the DS website it seems that you simply turn up, and register and leave a mobile number where I'm assuming that they'll text you with a time slot to come back. Has anybody done this? If so, is my assumption correct and crucially does it work and is it worth bothering? Thanks in advance.

We went last Nov. It was an easy, well organised and lovely experience. You go through the Christmas tree trail (all decorated with different Disney film themes and there is music and fake snow (snow machine). It was quiet during the afternoon and you put your name down on a sheet and give you a pager. You can walk around disney springs but not too far. The mobile phone notification only works for US mobile numbers. We only wanted around 20 mins!

Excellent, thanks very much!
Not entirely sure what my son will make of it, he didn't like Hashtag the panda on the Jimmy Fallon ride when we went last year, admittedly he wasn't even 1 at the time but safe to say he wasn't a fan!
