Looking for accomodation on/near AMI for 2 weeks but so expensive

Hi

We are looking for something on or near AMI for 2 weeks but everything is coming out so expensive,

The problem is there are 9 or 10 of us travelling.

I know alot of Dibbers have stayed down on the gulf coast so we are looking for recommendations for cheaper accomodation please

Don't mind staying somewhere else if it is cheaper

What time of year are you looking at?
Peak season on the Gulf Coast is Jan-Apr with mega peak season (snowbirds galore) being Feb & Mar so this could be a factor?
Cheapest time of year is Jul & Aug for rentals; you could pay half, sometimes even a third, of what is charged in Feb-Mar!

Unfortunately the accommodation on AMI is dearer as you are paying for the location, being able to walk to the beach etc.

If you don't mind driving, maybe Bradenton or Sarasota would be more reasonable

What sort of price are you hoping for per head? Houses are expensive but when you break it down per person, for a large group, I think you’d get a reasonable price
I can thoroughly recommend Villa Marianne which would sleep 10 excluding the sofa bed
