Flight trackers blow my mind :)

Just had to share , My son is on a school trip to Berlin and due home tonight . I checked his flight took off on time and easyJet have the live flight tracker so as he’s about 45 mins to landing I thought I’d check the status . We saw the plane was due to fly over us so we popped outside and watched it fly over. It’s bonkers my son is on that plane .

Try Flightradar24- it’s been updated, now, and you can get a 3D view as the flight goes along, either from outside the plane or a pilots eye view. Fascinating!

I’ve spent many a sunny afternoon in my recliner in the garden telling my son where the planes going overhead are going (whether he’s interested or not.)😂

It’s amazing isn’t it. My husband followed my flight when I went to palma with my mum a few years back, I in return watched our plane come in from New York before we boarded

My son actually asks me where the planes are going to/coming from as he knows I have flight radar24 on my phone.

We’ve used it to track the A380 that’s started to lands daily at Glasgow as it often goes over our house. We are such plane geeks

We did Callum said they could have dropped him off instead of taking him to Manchester

We are on the direct flight route to the US and Canada , so you can set your watch by the planes that go over especially on Sundays.

My mum is 78 and loves FR24 and spends ages on it when we are flying to the US and back as we give her all our flight details to make it easier to find we always ring when we land back in the UK and she always gives us a run down of how we flew round in a circle when waiting to land etc!
