Last minute saving!
Just a happy story to remind you all to keep checking your car hire prices when you have free cancellation !

I had booked through virgin 18 months ago and thought I had a good price. I hadn't been able to find anything cheaper until now, a day before we leave ! I just rechecked prices and saved £110 booking with Alamo directly ! Same company, same car class ! The only thing we loose is the free additional driver but as I am the only one who ever drives anyway this wasn't a selling point for us!

I would think Alamo brits would have been cheaper than Alamo direct and you get additional drivers for free so may be worth checking their site next time as i have always found Virgin Atlantic to be the cheapest until you get closer to your dates then Alamo Brits has always been cheaper .

I tried Brit’s but they only had higher classes of cars showing unfortunately as I would have preferred to use them.

It does that with me, I want a Full Size SUV but it won’t show up as available for my dates on the Brits website.
Int, Std, Premium and Luxury yes, but Full Size no.
