Universal hotel benefits once reopened

I'm wondering if there will be capacity reserved for onsite guests once everything reopens at Universal? We'd been planning on staying at RPR in Aug but not sure if it will be worth it if you can't get in or the FOLP isn't as beneficial as usual

I've seen the question asked a few times since the reopening was announced but not seen any answers. So I was just wondering if anyone has heard/read anything about it, or is it just a case of wait and see?

I'd also be interested in people's opinions on what they think they might do. I can't see them not sorting something as I don't think people will be willing to pay the onsite premium if they don't even know if they'll be able to get into the park, never-mind make use of the benefits.

Personally think this was more a general planning question then accommodation with it being more to do with access to the park and FOLP etc!

We have Hard Rock booked for October, purely based on the fact that the express tickets are worth their weight in gold! If that bonus is removed then it’s just not worth paying the premium to stay there. I note that Disney have cancelled all their fast pass options, I just hope Universal don’t do the same.

Don't think the Disney announcement is good news at all. Even best case scenario is that they keep it but loads of people decide to sack off Disney and do Universal instead.

I'd also want to be sure that I could get in to the parks whenever I wanted. If we're having to get up early just to make sure that we can in a park I'll have to reconsider. For me, the best thing about the express pass is the freedom to go to the parks whatever time you want and not have to worry too much about long queues. I don't think we really took advantage of the early hour apart from at VB.
