How much more busy?

Can anyone shed any light on how much more busy Disneyland is at the weekend v during the week? We are moving a trip to next October and seems like our days would be a Saturday and Sunday. I was hoping it wouldn’t be ridiculously more busy.
Thanks as always.

In my limited experience with Disneyland (two trips), the weekends were always far more crowded than the weekdays, with opening hours to match (weekends were closing at 11pm or midnight, weekdays were closing at 8pm or so). The weekends also had a lot more entertainment with some shows like Fantasmic only running on the weekends but not on the weekdays.

It's mainly a function of Disneyland CA being a locals' park - so a lot of people are working during the weekdays but have time to go on the weekends. But the upside of the weekends are the extended opening hours and there being more shows/etc.

I never thought of that. That’s interesting. Thank you.

Thank you 😊 that gives me a better understanding.
