Seating BA configuration ?

So we are booked to fly BA( not Orlando).

Checked on seat guru and can’t find the seat configuration it’s different to that on BA seating plan (777 plane)

We are in seats 17BC., in front of us it shows the bassinet row in 2/3/2 format, then the row we are in.

In front of seat 17C is a thick line on the seating plan

Does anybody know what this means ?.
Just wondering if we need to try and move seats, I haven’t seen this before and can’t for the life of me think what it is !

Cheers
Jules

Have a look at the seat maps on BASOURCE website, if I had to guess your on a 777 with no First class, 48 Club World & 24 WT+ seats, shown on the site as "777 48J24W203Y"
It looks from the seat map that the route from WT into WT+ is directly in front of where the front row aisle seats at either side would be which is why there are only two on either side.
If the layout is as it shows on the seat plan then 17C looks like it would have great legroom as there's no seat in front of it.
As you say though, when you look at the BA site it shows the row in front as having three seats.
I would always tend to trust the official BA site but you never know.

Hi Jules,

I think it's just to show that there's no seat in what would be the 'C' position infront of 17C. Hence you have tons of legroom in 17C.

There's a youtube video of a BA 777 where you can clearly see a man sat in 17C with loads of legroom.

It means you are on an unrefurbished plane and it is a 3-3-3 seat formation in economy.

On the row in front there are indeed only 2 seats in front of you so there is a big space to put your legs out. This is one of the best seats on the plane if you do not have a screaming baby in front of you. One of the first off the plane in economy is a bonus too. Shame they removed this feature on the refurbished planes.
