DVC points
Has anyone been able to roll over or had points that are due to expire extended due to lockdown etc. The reason I ask is I have a holiday booked for the end of March if we can’t go I’m going to lose 100 points which would be far from ideal. What are other experiences of this,I know it’s a first world problem but just wanted to hear others experience

If the points are already banked in imho I’m not sure that they’d let you bank them again. I guess you could rent them/the reservation, or like we did with a bunch of banked points on our cancelled Easter 2020 trip we pushed them over to RCI. I think you have to do that 45 days before the end of your UY, and it has to be in multiples of 10 points. The RCI points are now good until I think the end of Dec 2021. Not ideal to have to put them into RCI, but better than losing completely at that stage if you don’t want to rent.

I had some points due to expire in June that I had been having problems renting (through a broker) so I made a reservation in May and offered it a a reduced cost. It went in a couple of hours! I think I went too cheap, but it more than covered my dues and I just didn't want to lost them.
I know I could have got more if I'd rented privately but I really didn't fancy the hassle and risk, or the guilt if the person was unable to travel! |

The problem is I’m not going to know until closer to March if we can go or not at that point it’s too late.

OP tell me about it. We lost Easter, August and October this year so if we cant go at Easter 21 we’re going to lose some (more) and have to dump to RCI. First world problems and all that. In the bigger picture they’re only points and hopefully they’ll be other trips 🤞.
We’ll probably just take a view late January. Good luck with whatever you decide. |

In the same boat! Trip planned end of March going into early April... 100 points we may end up losing. We’ve owned DVC since 2018 and haven’t been able to use it yet for ourselves!

It’s really annoying that Disney are not helping more with this
