Navigators verandah

I'm in the early stages of planning next years holiday, which will include a week cruising the Caribbean.
I would really like to do a Disney cruise, but am struggling with justifying paying up to £800 more to go with Disney than other cruise lines.
It has to be a balcony cabin and the navigators verandah is a couple of hundred pound cheaper than a "normal" balcony cabin.
Has anyone had one of these cabins and is the view obstructed or spoiled by that type of balcony.

Have a look on Youtube for Sea Cruisers. They have just done a Disney cruise and give a very in depth tour of the Navigators balcony and the cabin!

Thanks. It's hard to tell from the photo, but was your view spoilt in any way.
Also, which ship was you on.

Just to clarify for the op, that's a Navigators veranda on the Dream/Fantasy. On the Magic and Wonder, they're
different and are a large open port hole with wood panelling from waist height to the floor. You cannot see the sea when sat down basically.
It does help with the wind (not your own though I'm afraid ) and is very comfy.

Thanks
The ship we are looking at is the Fantasy, so it would be the balcony in the photo.
