DCL Transfer
Hi All
We have booked our first cruise for October this year. We are doing the 3 night Disney Dream. Prior to the cruise we will be staying at Universal then after heading to Disney. We are intending to hire a car for our Universal part of the holiday but were planning on returning it after the cruise as we will use Disney transport. It seems a bit pointless to pay for a car and parking for 3 days and then return it as soon as we get to Disney so I have been looking into the transfers. Just got a couple of questions which I'm hoping someone may be able to answer! Is the cost of the transfer $35 per person to any Disney resort? How long does the transfer take? How soon after we disembark will we leave, what time are we likely to arrive at our hotel? How do I book the transfers? Would I be able to take some of my luggage to the Disney hotel before he cruise and store it rather than take it all onboard? Sorry for so many questions! |

What about hiring then dropping off at a car rental place near the port? Most do free transfers then to the port and even if they don't, the driver in family drops everyone at the port then returns car and gets a lift back (taxi if not shuttle but I'm pretty sure all of them do a shuttle). It would save on car parking charges.
