I will be there the 5th and 6th November, and having reflected on it, if we miss Volcano Bay it won't be the end of the world (only want to do the aqua coaster and the funnel slide, rest of the time would have been the lazy river and pool)

We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel in Nov 2015 and on our last day we did all the major rides before 1pm (rollercoasters, harry potter both rides, transformers, spider man, minions, the mummy, simpsons, men in black, and we finished off with the water rides as we got soaked and then went back and changed.) All walk on's but used EP as we had it and we caught the train between parks.

It'd be awfully difficult to fit in 15 + rides and 4 live shows on one day given the parks are open for around 10 hours. Even with folp and relatively quiet parks, it's a big ask.

It doesn't appear to give you time to wander around the 2 parks and enjoy / take in the scenery and backdrops, nor time to stop for a rest, snack, lunch etc.

I'd certainly suggest that's a 2 day itinerary.

We're staying at RPR in early November and while we'd like to do most of what you list, but no way would we even contemplate trying to do all that in one day.

As she who must be obeyed says " It's a holiday, not a race ".

We also have VB pencilled in for a day, but only if it gets its act together and isn't the complete fiasco it is at the moment.

Whatever options you pick, have a great time.

Although you don't get express passes for VB included as a resort guest - you do get early entry. So that might help you too? !

Thanks everyone, having just got back from Canada and having not enjoyed the running around we did I have reassessed plans somewhat!

Firstly volcano bay has been dropped. I have never been to a water park and I feel the Disney ones will be better ones to start with to build confidence.

Secondly me and my sister have looked at what's most important to us, and that's the Harry Potter areas, and the three water rides. The coasters are also near the top, but anything screen based can be dropped for a more relaxing tour.

I think you were pushing it to do everything in a day, but I think 2 days is definitely doable now that you have dropped Volcano Bay. All the Harry Potter stuff is amazing

Happy planning

I'm just back and we did Volcano Bay. Got there for the early park hours at 8am. Spoke to someone later in the day who'd tried to get in a 9.30 am but got turned away... already was full to capacity. Also the main rides at the volcano were closed all day - had been from the day before. So although it was nice to see it... it was still chaos. Even the dining area was chaotic.

Lazy river was lovely though!
