DCL Transfers with Disney

Hi
We are booked on the Disney Fantasy next September, and in hindsight we have probably done things the wrong way and booked for too short a time, but I'm a bit confused what to do about transfers.

We are going to stay at CSR for 2 nights before and then AKL for 2 nights after, I booked the hotels through the Disney website not through the Disney cruise line.

We want to go on the Disney bus and I am now reading we would get there quicker if we went to the airport on the morning on the Disney bus and caught the cruise bus from there, is this correct?

Do I need to ring now and book the Cruise line bus and what about the airport bus? We are planning on arriving at the airport and picking up a car, can you leave the car at the resort hotel whilst on the cruise? I know it will cost more to hire but only slightly.

Any help welcome

You wont be able to leave the car at the resort unless your hotel stay covers the cruise dates as they put a pass on with the dates.

Have you looked at hiring the car to the port rather than hiring and returning in Orlando? It would save you time and mean you can get to the port at a great time?

Just saves $79 per person for the transfer and probably won't cost anywhere near that to do this way

I've heard people say they sometimes book a limo as that can work out quite economical but I've not done it. Last time I asked I was told Happy Limo -might be worth a look

Thanks we are just going to drive to Port Canaveral and then on the way back pick up another car back to the resorts. Advantage being we can board the boat earlier x
