I am sure there are many more on here much more qualified to answer your questions than me !
But here is my two penny worth... People hop because they want to cover as much ground as they can in a short time. I like you am not a hopper, but we have often returned to the resort for a swim and then gone back to a park later that day. It is difficult with a wee one, cause they can get tired and irritable, so you will know how much gas he has in his tank. They other strategy is to do 3 fastpass in park 1, and then book 3 more for park 2 etc etc With a 9 year old son, I would suggest a bit of character interaction is called for. He can get his autograph book signed also Faves are Tusker House AK Chef Mickey Contemporary resort Crystal Palace MK Ohana at the Polynesian POFQ is lovely by the way Disney332
