Best time to book cruise?

I am thinking of doing New York and a Disney cruise next year and looked at cruise prices for the 7 night Caribbean one and wow it was expensive.

Just wondering if there is a best time to book or ever any discounts/ offers. Also never been on a cruise, is a sea view/ verandas room worth the extra?

Unfortunately with DCL the best time to book is when they first go on sale. They rarely have special offers or discounts for UK people and the prices just go up and up unfortunately. Unlike a Disney holiday where you can get good offers throughout the year, DCL don't seem to need to do many so don't. They do Florida resident and Canadian resident discounts quite often but not for us.

I agree with gismo.

Once we had a kids sail free offer but it was off season and quite a number of years ago. I haven't seen it since.

We always try and book as soon as the itinerary is released.
