8pm (departure) flight

I'm possibly being premature, because I've not planned the last few days of our trip yet, but pretty sure I've done days 1-10 OK, so we can be relatively flexible towards the end.

However, I always like to try and make the most of the last day. It'll just be me and my 2 daughters and we don't need to get to the airport until 5pm (is a Friday, though, so will allow time for rush hour etc).

We are staying onsite and I was thinking about putting suitcases in the car, first thing, and just going to MK for EMH and then maybe lunch/final shopping at DS. I've been assuming that the 11am check out is absolute - but wondered if anyone has ever got a later check out (giving us the chance to use the room for an hour)?

OR can you use the pool and, if so, are there spaces to shower afterwards (or better to go to a waterpark and use their facilities)?

Just looking for ideas, many thanks!

on our last day we like to check out early, we use the Virgin checkin at DS, have a look around, then off to MK for a few hours and lunch etc. Your plans sound very good. I have not heard of people getting a late check out at Disney but you can always ask, I guess like most places they will not confirm until the night before yu check out if it is possible or not.

You have not said where you are staying but the Deluxe resorts have showers and changing rooms near the swimming pools.
