I've caved and booked for 2018!

We always go the last week of July and then either one or two weeks into August. We have always fancied going at Halloween and I've just booked the 20th October 2018 for 10 days in a 2-bed at Old Key West. We will then book the Hard Rock Hotel for 5 nights before flying home on around the 4th November 2018. This means we can finally do both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Universal Halloween Horror Nights! It will be the 5 of us me, DH, DS who will be 26, DD who will be 22 and DS2 who will be 19. We do like the hot weather though can anyone tell me the difference between August and October/November?

Ooooh that's when we're flying out! I booked the Beach Club for 5 nights yesterday and will head to a villa with family for the rest of the holiday. Where are you going to fly from?

Never been in August but end of October is lovely! Hot but lower humidity and it cools down a little in the evening which is lovely (still in shorts and tshirt though).

We always go with Virgin and fly from Gatwick. We stay the night before to make the holiday seem longer. I've only booked WDW so far so maybe this time we will fly somewhere different depending on the price!

We'll be there at the same time! Don't hold me too it but the weather was better when we went in October than end of August.

We've been a few times and love the temperatures then. Plenty hot enough for water parks but without the killer humidity of the summer months 😊
