Frenchy's Motel - Clearwater

Hi Everyone
Has anyone stayed at Frenchy's in Clearwater? It has some good reviews on Trip Advisor. But wanted to check with the trusted dibbers aswell

We've booked a couple of nights here in mid August, but have never been before.
I'll try and remember to post a brief review when we return.

We stayed at Frenchys last week, and would definitely recommend it. We had a room with balcony overlooking the bay, from which we saw dolphins! The room is equipped with a kitchenette (sink, double hob, fridge/freezer, microwave). We had two double beds, plus bathroom with with bath/shower etc.
The whole building and pool is immaculate and the attention to detail is impressive, giving it a real retro feel.
The location was great for us. Five minutes walk from the beach and pier, even closer to loads of great restaurants.
My only slight complaint, would be that for a light sleeper like myself, the air conditioning was noisy. We could have turned it off, but it was incredibly hot while we were there. Despite this, we'd certainly stay there again if visiting Clearwater.
