Cancelled flight

Hi just wondering if anyone could advise me please. Daughter should have flown back to Manchester last night from Berlin with friends, but flight was cancelled. Been put up in a hotel and have been put on another flight tonight but flying in to Bristol! Could anyone tell me how they get home from Bristol as no one at Berlin airport seems to know what will happen. They just keep saying asked easyJet when you land which isn't very helpful. Are easy jet responsible for getting them back to manchester?

Could you ring Easy Jet get at Bristol airport to see if they have any information?

Depending on timings etc might be worth looking up a train route? Easy jet did something similar to us, we got the train and then we claimed it back and they paid up quickly.

I would expect they need to get them back to Manchester. Surely they will put a coach on or pay train. Why dont you phone easyjet?

been on phone and chats all day long... one told me they just have to make their own way and will be refunded. no one has money left now after spending extra day there. they did get food which was one less worry.one advisor said just see what happens when they get there! another one said "is it far from Bristol to manchester". apparently the call centre not in UK. been trying to call bristol but no luck getting through. I thought airline was responsible for getting you back to original airport?

none of them drive😏 just 4 students having a nice few days in berlin they should be arriving about 7 ish looks like I will have to wait till then. thanks for all the replies

Are they on the 6.21 arrival?

If they can get to Bristol Temple meads (25min car journey) by 7pm there is a 'direct' train to Manchester - which will get them there for 10pm.
If they miss the 7pm Train, there will be a few 'changes' required, so won't get back until 11.30 onwards.

I'll keep an eye out for the plane, it'll fly right past my window as it comes in to land


Cancel that, there is a 7.30 with a change in Birmingham - gets to Manchester at 10.30.
Might be a better shout.

I would have thought that Easyjet were responsible to get them to Manchester (their final destination)?

Surely there is a plane full of people needing to get to Manchester, so a bus or coach should be laid on.
