Mobile Baulys offsite- day 7- live Aug 19

#Baulysoffsite

Day 7

Today we were up early as we had to leave the villa at 9. Breakfast was bagels and cereal in the villa and then we made our way to showcase of citrus.

Showcase of citrus is a u pick citrus farm with animals and a monster truck tour around the 2,500 acre working citrus and cattle ranch estate. They also have a farm shop where they sell their produce including fruit, honey, wine and jams. The fruit picking season is over at the moment though and restarts again in november. We got a deal on groupon which I think worked out at buy one get one free.

We arrived at around 9.30 and checked in, they have a play area for the kids and they spent time playing on it before our tour at 10am. Adam heard a hawk so was looking up in the trees and heard a rustling around his feet and a snake slithered past his feet, gave him quite a scare.

We were then called on to the truck at 10 and spent an hour going around the estate and being giving facts by the tour guide. He was a very good and funny guide. We saw water buffalo, zebras and turkeys as well as some other animals.

We then left there and went to target to pick up some supplies and dinner for tonight. I think walmart is probably cheaper but it was very quite in there even though it was a saturday.

Me, adam and mum also stopped on the way back at taco bell for some lunch and everyone else had rolls that we had bought from target. Taco bell was ok but not as nice as i thought it would be.

We then had a chilled afternoon, me and finley had a nap, dad and adam watched the footy and my mum played in the pool with the girls. When i woke up me and finley joined them in the pool and spent a couple of hours playing.

I then cooked dinner which was salad, lasagne and pepperoni pizza which was really nice. Ice cream for dessert and we are all having an early night

Tomorrow is our 1st disney day- T- rex for lunch and animal kingdom in the afternoon/ evening.

Spends
Target $92
Taco bell $22

I'm on the look out for the Monster Truck group for our January trip. I think my nephew will love it.
