Road gritters names

Just saw a FB post about the gritters and the great job the drivers are doing, unsung heroes. Loads of people mentioning the ones they’ve seen - Spready Mercury one of my fav this year. There’s a Salt Disney too. Thought I’d pop the interactive map on, zoom in and have a look at some of the names 😂

My ds once won a competition to name a kent gritter, with the name Frost Giant

On having a look around Warwickshire seem to have some interesting names for 5 of their gritters
