When does BA move back to south terminal at Gatwick?
We are on the Tampa flight at Easter and my booking states south terminal. I am wanting to book my hotel and car parking and as far as I am aware BA are still operating from the North terminal? Does anyone know if and when they are planning on moving back to the south terminal so I know which car park to book.

No date given - it is controlled by Gatwick Airport and they will keep it as is until demand for flights picks up. I would expect maybe next Summer but all covid dependant

As MF says, depends when Gatwick reopen South. They're currently refurbishing it while demand is low, it's a right mess from what I saw this morning.
But in terms of booking parking and the like, the terminals are so close that it's not a huge inconvenience if you have to transit between. |

It takes a few minutes to get from terminal to terminal on the little shuttle thing.
I wouldn't even factor in terminal when booking hotel/parking at Gatwick - it makes no difference. |

My app says my BA flight next September departs from South Terminal too. I was expecting it to be from North and booked the Premier Inn- oh well! It's only a few minutes by shuttle as Bozza says.

We’re on the Tampa flight in just over 2 weeks out of N 🤞🤞
We’ve booked parking in the N terminal but the Hilton at the S terminal. No biggie to travel from N to S after dropping the car and from S to N the next morning to drop our cases. Our flight to Tampa in mid-May says S. |

We've booked our parking at Gatwick for the South Terminal for May as that's where flights are scheduled from/to. It's has free cancellation so if it turns out to be North we can shift it nearer the time (although no doubt miss out on cheaper early booking prices).
As I am writing this it has just occurred to me it might be worth booking both now to lock in prices and then using free cancellation for whichever one we don't need nearer the time when terminal is confirmed? Has anyone else done this?

I wouldn't worry about parking and hotel at south or north Gatwick as long as the connecting train keeps running, it only takes 5 minutes.

Anyone know whether there's any updated info on this... we're supposed to be flying from the South in April but there's no word on BA moving here yet that I can see...?
