There’s also a horse welfare sanctuary in Blackpool, they do amazing work and you can adopt their horses for a monthly fee I think.

It’s an absolutely fantastic place for a visit and they do a lot of work with people with ASD and learning difficulties. It’s only about 30 minutes away from you.

DD adopted a donkey for several years from our local sanctuary, they did a lot of work with special needs kids and adults and ran sessions, she used to love her donkey therapy sessions, they are such loving animals. X christmas used to be a big thing for them with fab Christmas concert.
