Mission Impossible Rogue Nation (I think)... load of nonsense, but entertaining enough.

I wish I could watch it but we donít have Netflix. We saw it on stage starring Neil Patrick Harris, actually loved it more than Rent.

We have decided as a family to complete the Disney animated films which we haven't all watched together.

First three up...

Friday Night - Emperor's New Groove. This seems to have gone under the radar in this household and can't believe none of us had ever watched it. Great little film with genuinely some really funny moments.

Saturday - Tangled. Wife hadn't watched it and she loved it. Maximus is one of my favourite Disney characters.

Today - The Princess and the frog. Again the wife somehow had not watched this and I loved it when first watching it with the lads. She really enjoyed it and the song Dig a little deeper has got to be the go to when replacing Zippity doo dah when Splash finally gets its new retheme.

I've just watched A Castle for Christmas. An American romance author (Brooke Shields) comes to Scotland to visit a castle and of course the love interest is the Duke (Carey Elwes)

His accent drifts from Highland to Glaswegian with a bit of Liverpool thrown in. Got to be the very worst attempt at a Scottish accent I've ever heard. He used words like Dobber, walloper and divvy! I can't imagine a Duke speaking like this. I wonder if some Scottish dialogue coach was having a laugh!

The Scriptwriter must be American, though, because they used words like escrow and mayor (er, no, it's Provost in Scotland). And went from Edinburgh Airport to Dunbar (which is supposed to be in the Highlands but is just along the coast) by way of Inveraray Castle!

It's one of these films that's so bad it's good. Highly recommended!

14 Peaks. Netflix Documentary about Nirmal Purja and his quest to climb all 14 8000m mountains in a record time. Really enjoyed it but found it didnít spend enough times on the climbs.
