Thank you, hope yours goes well

We agreed our sale to first time buyers in July, found a new property within 2 weeks, was progressing well until we discovered the sun room extension didn't have a building regs certificate 🙈 so we pulled out.

Had an offer accepted on another, better, property at start of September. Been a hectic last couple of weeks, fingers crossed for coming week 🤞

We completed today!

Despite the snow and frost, everything went smoothly: solicitors, estate agents and removals were incredible. Only sad moment was saying goodbye to my neighbour of 33 years, she has been such a support through some very difficult times. We will keep in touch, of course.

My lovely family, who helped with the cleaning and moving were outstanding 😍

New house is impeccably clean, still lots of unpacking to get through.

We had a chippy tea with champagne 🍾

I'm now a 4 minute walk from my twin sister and her family, priceless 👭

After reserving our new build a year ago, completing our house sale in April and living in a rental since then, we’ve finally got a completion/moving date of the 21st (original date was 28 September), so fingers crossed we’ll be in for Christmas 🤞

I've got a completion date of next Monday the 20th, removal van booked for Tuesday 21st. So should be more or less in before Christmas. Have got my rented flat until January 5th so have got a couple of weeks to sort things.

I left and divorced my abusive husband seven years ago and I feel like owning a house again rather than renting is a big step towards me getting my life back on track. I can't wait to move into something that is MINE

Although we were in our new house for Christmas 2019, it wasn't our "home" yet as so much needed to be done and we were practically camping. We actually went away for Christmas that year as we had booked it almost a year earlier before we found the house! Last year was a bit better as most of the house was done, but really looking forward to this year as all finished and will have us all together hopefully. Just think next year will be fantastic

This is our conservatory this year - just taken 3 years to get here!
