What's June like at WDW and Universal?
We're currently booked to go back to Disney next September, but looking to maybe push it back to June 2023 for a few reasons. I just wondered if anyone had been in June and what the crowds and weather are like then? Any thoughts on June vs September? as a month to visit? Planning on 2 weeks at Disney and 1 at Universal

If you like the crowd level in September, don't go in June.
ETA: Weather is much the same, although maybe slightly better in June since it's the start of the storm season rather than the peak. Edited at 01:07 PM. |

Never been in September, so no experience of it. We've been twice at Easter, twice in October and once in January and February so far.

June is somewhere between October and Easter in crowd levels, since it's the start of the US summer holidays. September is similar to Jan/Feb in crowds, some of the quietest weeks of the year typically fall in September.

In our experience June is hot, some days are wet and stormy, and every day is very busy. American kids break up for Summer Holidays in June and it was crazy busy, especially at weekends. We usually go outside of the USA school holidays so it was a bit of a shock for us June 2019.
September is still pretty hot, can see a few storms from hurricanes, but is generally average on crowd levels, although we noticed it getting increasingly busier over the last few visits. I think it's linked to Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and the Halloween offerings both being available at the same time - a very appealing time to visit, especially for adult groups. We'll not do June again, we couldn't stand the heat.

I've been from the Middle of June to end of June, and it was very busy, I have also been in July as well, and I would say they are pretty similar crowd levels, and very hot/humid. I am currently looking to go September 2022 which I hear should be a fair bit quieter, had a fair few rain showers when I went in June, some lasting quite some time around 2 hours+, which I wasn't quite use to. If you look at the dibb guide https://thedibb.com/when-to-visit-orlando-and-wdw/ it suggets June is the highest rainfall, and the first two weeks of June should be as busy as the first two weeks of September along with labour day, but the last two weeks are considerably busier.

We went last week of May/2 weeks June. The crowd levels dropped the 3rd week but to be honest I didn't find any of the weeks unmanageable. We had a storm blow over so literally no blue sky for 3 days but those 3 days the parks where amazing as no-one else seems to go. I would def do that time of year again.
