My travel insurance covers $500 in cash. Have those of you that take a lot more than that got extra cover?

I pay cash anywhere they might take my card out of my sight petrol stations some restaurants etc

We have been going a few times per year since 1990. Card was only declined once and I was able to sort it in under 1 minute (Halifax txted me and I just responded to say the change was OK).

had 4k in cash and 2 k on cards.

always took cash but next year will probably take alot less and use card more

some card machines asked did you want to pay in dollars or gb pounds

I’ve been here inFlorida the last 3 weeks cash I for=tips is still a thing
But if paying cash in some stores they want the exact coins as there is a national shortage of coins apparently Ross and Dollar tree and a couple of other stores it’s a must/
So if you’ve coins lurking about bring them
