Randox pick up

So with the new changes, i see randox has click and collect, i have one in liverpool but it takes forever on the bus there, i am heading to manchester airport on monday night before my flight on tuesday,

it asks when i am going to come home which i tell them, but could i pick this up before i fly out so dont have to do it on the way back? or pick up on way back?

I’m planning on heading to a Randox location near me tomorrowto ask this question. We land Christmas Eve and from what I’ve read you can do the day 2 test either on or before day 2. So my plan is to take the test with me, do it when I land then drop it off in one of the golden drop offs where you get the results by 9am the next day.

I presumed the click and collect was so you could collect before you go , just the same as you can have it delivered to your house before you go

If only the gold drop-off points weren’t all 200 miles . Not much levelling-up going on in the Randox world 😀

Brilliant new plan. Order Randox before we go, do it as arrive at Heathrow, head to M1 via gold drop off at Morrisons Watford, get results by 9am next morning. Boom.

We've already done our click and collect (Glasgow) and it was fine. We didn't want to leave off collecting till we go for our pre-departure PCRs in case they ran out (as if, but all these things go through your mind!) Anyway looks as if our day 2 LFT will now need to be a PCR, though it is not till mid-Jan. I wonder if they will trade them in for a PCR 🤔

I think we will be doing the same! There’s a drop box at Gatwick airport, not gold though, so will land, do test, drop it off and then drive home.

And us, just re-ordered a test due to government changing. Hope its here by thursday as travelling early friday and can take it with us to do when land. The drop boxnis on our way home on the m4, sorted, I hope 🤞
