Pre Departure Fit To Fly Test
Hello Dibbers!
Sorry, I know this has probably been posted before. I did have a look through the first couple of pages but couldn't see anything. I wanted to see who everyone is using for their pre departure test. Virgin Atlantic had a couple of recommendations listed on their website but they have since been removed (unless I have missed them). I have read they have to be supervised tests, but was unsure if they had be be UK GOV approved/verified. Due to fly next Saturday so hoping nothing changes before then. Thanks in advance |

We used a local company Damhealth yesterday, they were very efficient and had results in 50 mins with a qr code to scan to the verifly app.

We used Medicspot and were very impressed. £29 and there are discount codes around.
You book the video time slot, do the test then they email you the certificate. |

Depends if you want to do a face to face or home supervised?
We are using Express Test at Birmingham airport ( not traveling out of Birmingham, just convenient) as we prefer a face to face appointment - £35 each |

I used Express Test Gatwick since it's my nearest testing centre and wanted an in person test. They were very good but next time I would probably use Breathe Assured as think I could manage a video call.

We used Express Test is Bristol 3 weeks ago. Not a very convenient location for us, but we wanted tests done by people who know what they’re doing and didn’t want to risk inconclusive results by doing them ourselves. We got tested at 9am and had the results back 10 hours later. We will use them again for our next trip in January.
