We did stay there once (it was £1,120 for 4 nights with the 2 nights free offer) but only because the PPI Fairy had given us a little unexpected present!

I hope you have that kind of luck again!
To be honest the wow factor of the hotel is more within seeing the foyer, the bar and the shops, all look great.

On your next visit just venture in after your park visit is over...

We done this on our last visit and we got more out of the hotel then when we physically stayed in it.

Met characters, listened to the piano player and had some nibbles and drinks at the bar.

Sequoia lodge is still the best bar after a day at the park imo.

We're pricing up January next year for a short trip before Florida in September... always a decent price.

We tend to have to do every trip 'on the cheap' or they won't happen as we like several trips away a year.

This January we did 4 nights Sequoia Lodge with half board and ferry crossing for £530 for 2 adults, I was very happy with that.

We're off again on a last minute trip in 2 weeks with AP's paying £110 for 2 nights at Hi-Park and £69 for the ferry.

We stayed at the Hi-Park 3 years ago and enjoyed our stay in a suite there so much more than all 4 of us being cramped in a hotel room. There's a free shuttle which picks you up right outside the main entrance but we found unless there was a bus right there when we left the hotel we were just as well walking as it took 15-20 mins and is a safe and pleasant walk

I am very much looking forward to the walk! I don't like shuttles all that much, but I've never actually walked to the parks before. It should be refreshing in the morning, and help build up the excitement!

I think I might of won this one... I did our trip in October 2012 (2 adults, 1 night 2 days) for a grand total of £100 - that is for travel to and from, accommodation and entry to the parks.

How you ask... well this is back when Sky did the free day tickets per household so I nabbed a pair off my Nan and a pair off my friend so that was park tickets sorted.

For travel we used Megabus - yes it takes a few hours but we did the overnight ones so by the time we'd arrived in Paris it was a simple jump on the underground straight to DLP. The Megabus cost us £5 each each way so £20 in total.

For accommodation we stayed at a serviced apartment type thing at Val D'Europe so just a quick 1 stop on the train. That was 50 euros and then the remainder of the £100 was spent on underground tickets and the train ticket back to the hotel.

I'm a bit of a bargain hunter with everything so when Sky released those tickets I was on a mission to do it as cheap as possible haha!

For two people, without the park tickets but including eurostar tickets, I managed to get it for £310, so £155 each- which, being inside the school holiday, I thought it was a fluke!

Has anyone else managed to get a really good price for DLP in the past?
We are going this October as well. While its not as cheap as yours I was very happy.

There are 4 of us and we are flying from Heathrow with BA into CDG. We are staying at a family suite in the Relais Spa for 5 nights which is the hotel I stayed in 2 years ago with my son on a short trip. It was perfect. Very much 4 star and you get on demand free transfers to the front of the park. It would only take 15 mins to walk but its lovely to be able to call as you are leaving and they pick you up.

Not including park tickets but including Expedia quidco cashback its £810. I pretty darn happy with that!

In 2015 we did 4 nights 5 days at the Cheyanne. Including Eurostar via Lille and park tickets we paid just over £230 each (for 2 of us). We were very happy with that and thinking of going back next year but I cant get a price anywhere near that!

We've booked 2 nights at sequoia lodge golden forest for February for 3 adults for £220 total without park tickets. We have annual passes and will drive.

I once managed to get myself and my daughter for her 7th birthday. Two return flights from Glasgow with Ryanair, Hotel in Glasgow overnight, Transfers to hotel, Sante fe hotel with park ticket and half board meal plan for 5 nights, and a birthday package (meal with cake etc. Total cost £300 for the two of us. This is going back 8 years ago the flights were only £5 each way lol
