How long do you wait?

How long do you wait/is acceptable for a eBay payment?
I do wish people would either not bid if they have no intention of paying or let you know they had changed their mind ASAP
Waiting for 3 days so far.

I've had someone not paying for 10 days, despite me politely asking to pay as I wanted to send the item. This was for �1.99 by the way. Then I sent a 2nd email saying I would cancel the sale the next day if payment was not done, the buyer didn't reply but did pay then.

All this for �1.99, way too much effort I thought!

2 days, then reminder issued. 2 future days and if no response I start action against them. If they reply with an explanation I am more forgiving, but I've been ebay selling a long time and generally if they don't pay/message with a few days they have no intention of doing so.

I think they have no intention of paying. I just wish they would let me know so I can sort it out.
