GE Workshop help

Please help we are not staying on-site but I wish to book a space for my son to build a robot and a lightsaber can I just go on Disney site and book the day/time we wish to visit? Does the booking guarantee entrance to the area no matter how full the section is that day. I don't want to book a slot not get in and then still be charged if we don't arrive. Not sure how things will work we are available 24th October until 5th November so hoping something will available during these dates

TBh it's a risk you will have to decide on, Disney have different levels, 4 I believe, if it get's to 4 then no-one is getting in! 3 I believe is on-site guests & not sure on the other 2 but seriously who wants to be near a park that has initiated that!

There is a risk of closure that we all have to take, even onsite guests can be refused entry if it gets to the top level. But I would not worry about being charged for it if you are refused entry, that is something that would be sorted very easily I am certain.

I would go and take a look and get something booked in, I think slots are going quickly, although don't know about your dates especially.

If you can’t get in because it’s at capacity they can’t charge you as a no show.

Just spoke to Disney and they are only taking online credit card bookings. I don't have a credit card so we won't be able to do this unless things change between now and our holiday. Child sad mum saves $300

The credit card is just if you don’t show. I would imagine you could use a debit card.

Indeed you can, I have my TSB Debit Card linked to my MDE account and it has always been accepted when booking ADR's and have used it again recently to make bookings for Oga's and for the Droid Depot experience

You can definitely use a debit card. I noticed that in the US, they tend to say credit card as a generic term for all types of cards. Debit cards work fine for all types of Disney reservations.
