The lockdown has worked in Belgium

We are a few weeks a head of the UK and we only had less than 100 new confirmed cases.

The general death rate is now lower than average compared to previous years.

I am hoping that the huge experiment in the US with mass gatherings will provide evidence that wearing masks outside could mean we could go back to concerts and festivals.

Certainly I'm confident that properly managed football crowds could be a thing sooner rather than later.

Anyway just wanted to bring you the good results in Belgium where hairdressers, and all shops have been open for a while now and we still have a downward trend in cases.

That's fantastic news and so glad to hear few countries are doing well with control of infection

Good news thank you.
As a side issue, if the police are going to allow mass gatherings with no social distancing and no arrests, why are they going to insist on football matches with no crowds!

No idea! Can’t see why we can’t start next season with fans wearing masks if there’s no spike in hospital admissions around the world in a couple of weeks. Would love to get back to the matches.

Good news about Belgium op, hopefully we won’t be too far behind.

Great news, it must feel amazing. Looking forward to our turn to be in the same position here too.
