We stayed at Holiday Inn Worth last month, parked at the hotel (you hand in your keys for the duration), and it was pretty good. Quite a nice breakfast in the morning as well (although a bit pricey). Hotel itself was reasonably priced.

We usually stay at the Sofitel and are able to leave the car onsite.

We have stayed at the Sandman Hotel in the past. You keep your keys and they also pay for the taxi to the airport.

Copthorne Effingham Park. Its about 5 miles from the airport but they have a taxi service I think the taxi cost us £12 each way. I know its not exactly ON the airport but its a stone throw away and gorgeous hotel with lovely grounds. And free to leave your car!

Official Gatwick Valet parking is in Carpark 6 North Terminal, opposite the North Terminal PI. Has always worked well for us.

We never do hotel/car park combined but regularly fly from LGW and always stay the night before.
If we have enough Tesco Deals we stay "free" at the Hilton attached to south terminal. If paying real money never beaten the PI opposite the north terminal. Always valet park at one of the official LGW multi-storey attached to the terminal we're flying from. Often use south hotel and fly from north - and vice versa. Mick

Yes it is an additional charge. I always book from the accorhotels.com website as I am in the loyalty program.
Just done a dummy run, it will firstly return the prices by room type, once you have selected a room type there are two tabs, one says "standard offer" and the other "package offer". The deals with parking are under the package offer tab and will be four, eight, fifteen days normally. I think last time I actually needed 16 nights but I booked 15, told them when I was checking in and they made a note. Process is to drive to hotel car park, park up, hand keys over at check in and then pick them up at desk on way home. |
