August holiday just been cancelled by ebookers

I was holding out hope we would be going on the 4th August. Ebookers have rung this morning to tell me our holiday, Virgin Flights and hotel all cancelled and no alternative to move. Full refund. Gutted but glad they have taken it out of my hands. 😢

No all booked through ebookers. Just didn’t expect it unless they know something we don’t. Also getting a refund for Disney tickets through Orlando attractions as I have an email confirming holiday company cancelled.

Sorry its been cancelled. Where were you flying from and what hotel were you staying at?

I was flying with Virgin from Manchester and staying at Floridays. Found it odd they didn’t even ask if I wanted to move.

Sorry your holiday isn't going ahead. It's always disappointing even though we know it won't happen. There has been speculation on here that Virgin won't be flying until October time. Flights from then have been changed to A330s and prior flights remain as 747s. Does this reinforce the thoughts?

Sorry that your holiday has been cancelled. I would however take comfort that you have had a full refund as it seems so many people have been less fortunate. Start planning the next one.
