Day Eight - Thursday 15th October - Part 2

As it was approaching firework time we decided to head into Main Street for a viewing position and we ended up at the top of Main Street. As usual they were fab and I even managed to take a few photos which I am proud of (we only have a basic point and shoot camera but I discovered it had a firework setting…only had it about 4 years ) What do you think?

A final push on the candy collection sent us to the Mad Hatters Trail



where we got lots of candy and after this we called it a night leaving the park around 11pm with bulging bags of candy.

Here's DF, DM & DH on the boat back to the TTC. DH as usual playing up to the camera while tucking into his candy:



Called at a 7/11 on the way back for some milk and got back around 11.45pm and was showered and in bed tired but happy by 12.30am.

NB: At some point during the next couple of days we decided to weigh the candy bags and they were all around 1lb! I must point out the DF’s and DH’s were the heaviest!
