Hi,

1) This varies but those fans you get that you fill with water are amazing (get them at Walmart or online before you go)

2) Freeze bottles of water if you're able to and take them to the park. If visiting Universal/IOA buy one of those refillable cups on the first day and it costs $1.06/7 each refill - you can take them back (normal sodas, not coke freestyle)

3) Depends on the age of the kids, don't expect too much out of them, let them dictate the pace, consider a buggy as it can be too much walking around even if they're at the 4/5 stage. Splash zones are amazing fun.

Also, don't spend too much time looking through a camera. Actually experience them meeting the characters/looking at the castle for the first time. Disney has photographers everywhere so let them do their job and you soak it all up.

If the villa doesn't have a cool box buy one of the polystyrene ones from the supermarket and keep it in the car great to have cold drinks when you get back to the car

second the 4 way extension lead!

Free cups of iced water from places that do fountain drinks in the parks

bring things like bonjella, bite cream, throat lozenges - easier to have handy than need to go out and buy when fed up.

Keep a change of clothes in the car so you don't have to go all the way back to villa. Some people keep swimming stuff in the car too.

Most useful thing - SAT NAV

Good tip - don't pack too many clothes if you have a washing machine in villa etc. (Clothes are also really cheap over there at outlet mall)

Don't overpack toiletries - buy at Walmart, much cheaper for larger bottles

Use the Dibb, and the busy park guide, and fast passes as much as you can.

Have fun!

1. 4 way extension lead with one adapter. Or 2 and 2 adapters - never enough!

2. One night at a Universal hotel provides 2 days of unlimited express access to the rides in the parks (with a couple of exceptions). It is sooooooooooooooooooo worth it.

3. Go with the flow a bit, keep days to a manageable length and keep water and spare set of clothes in the car (in a cooler for the water)
