All pics of a lovely trip posted. What a difference the weather makes to holidaying in the UK. We love Arran but never normally have much luck with the weather!

What lovely photo’s, thanks for posting. It’s funny as I see Arran every morning I walk along the shore front, well I say everyday but it can be a bit Brigadoon when it’s overcast lol. I think I’ve only been over twice in my life, I suppose some things are on your doorstep but you just take them for granted? Glad the weather stayed so nice for you xx

Our DiL is Glaswegian and had only been a couple of times too! They went over for a few walking days, fell in love with it and got married there, then set about finding a way to live there - they've lived and worked there 7 years now. If I lived near I'd be going over for weekends at Auchrannie when they have offers on - it's lovely.

Have you read Friends or Foes and Codename Pandora by KJ Graham? They are set mainly on Arran. A friends husband wrote them. Quite an enjoyable read, particularly when you recognise the locations.
