Dreaming, Then The Beach Club Day 7

Day 7 - Sept 7th.

Another red hot, sunny morning! No breakfast this morning, just coffee before heading out to the Magic Kingdom - we waited a while for the bus today. There were more people heading in today, probably as it's the first weekend after the hurricane and things have settled down, it's still not as busy as a normal Saturday though.
We headed up Main Street, stopping for a photo and turned left into Adventureland where we walked onto Pirates, then saw the staff of Pecos Bill do an opening ceremony, before heading over to Fantasyland and Gastons for their huge cinnamon rolls for breakfast, I asked for extra icing and was given 2 small pots of it. We got one each and somehow finished them!
We needed a 'sit down' attraction after this, and Philharmagic was only a 5 min wait and we love it, so we went in there. We followed this with a ride on the Carousel, then over to Big Thunder Mountain for our first FP, then Haunted Mansion and a look in Memento Mori. There was a 'Spooky Day' - a bit like a Dapper day but for HM fans, there were some great outfits.
We had a wander through Liberty Square, looked in Ye Olde Christmas shoppe, watched the Muppet show and went in Hall of Presidents, then had a ride on the Liberty Belle.
Over the last few days we've really noticed that the parks have stepped up the free water - most places have a CM with a tray of cups of water and there are more water dispensers around (Dasani will notice a drop in sales!)
Our 3rd FP was for 7 Dwarves Mine Train, where there was a lady really arguing with the CM as 'her ticket had FP on it' so she thought she could go to the front of every queue 😆.
We decided to have lunch at Columbia Harbour House, and as Small World was a walk on, we went in there on the way past. We shared a Trio Platter - shrimp, fish and chicken with fries, and a lemonade slush.
Time to leave the park as it was now 96° and the pool was calling!
On the way out of the park we watched the show in front of the castle, and the Dapper Dans on Main Street, then headed for the bus back to the Beach Club where we spent the next few hours doing nothing except lay in the sun, read and dip in and out of the pool and hot tub. Perfect.
Later, for dinner we went to Cape May Cafe for the first time in years, for their buffet which we both really enjoyed - so many of the buffets are Character meals now and we feel a bit past the dining with Mickey stage.
We've had another great day.

Love MK all done up for Halloween. You are getting so much packed in to your days and still having time to relax by the pool, although looking at your temperatures some pool time is well needed.
