Wednesday 28th Sep - MK day!
Breakfast in the room, sure you all know the drill by now. Headed to the pool for a relaxed morning/afternoon. MK was on the cards tonight so got the lynx 50 at about 3. I'm guessing we skipped dinner or had something in the room as no photos or notes! Had a wonder around the shops, bought our self's some treats. DM got some rice crispy bars and a candy corn cupcake? Think this was just vanilla flavour. I did buy some treats for myself but don't have a scooby-doo what they where as no photos! Got half way around the park and the black clouds started heading our way. Tip for anyone going, you know the rain is going to hit soon when they start closing/putting covers over the carts outside. Once we saw this we knew we had about 2 minutes before it was going to pour down so dinner time came early! Colombia harbour house was the closest place, that fitted our appetites, so we made a pit stop here. DF had chicken pot pie with decaf coffee, me and DM both had the fish platters with lemonade. All came to $43.07. Apologies for the awful photos the lighting wasn't great where we where sat and I was that hungry I forgot to take photos before we dove in (you do get 2 or 3 portions of fish not just 1 as shown ) I have to say it's a bit of a nightmare getting a table in this place, seems a bit of a free for all. A lot of people where just sat with no food but a server helped us find a table. Rain soon stopped so we continued around the rest of the park. Watched the parade and fireworks which where amazing as always. Sad to hear the electrical parade is no more, so here is a photo in memory! Neither did we know this would be our last time watching wishes! Another photo (or 2) in memory V excited to see the new firework display at MK! This trip we only bought a 2 day disney ticket, to use at epcot and MK, and I'm afraid the weather wasnt on our side on both days! We still loved visiting disney (how could you not!) but didn't get as much done as I'd hoped. Definitely buying a longer ticket next time, 2 days of magic just wasnt enough! Edited at 05:33 PM. |
