Hi, I was wondering what you thought of the Royal Pacific we have stayed at the hard rock the last couple of years but I have found a good price for a kids suite at the Royal pacific. Also seen a good price for Portofino bay but that is not a suite and it is not as close to the parks.

We liked it. Thought pool area very nice, beds very comfy, walk in shower lovely and loved proximity to parks, we either walked about 5 mins or got the boat. Missing the main security hub at citywalk was a huge plus. We didn't feel we needed express though, crowds were low and we did miss the feel of cabana where we have stayed 3 times. Especially DD. I would stay at rpr again if we needed express but unless at a very busy time think we will do cabana.

Thank you. It's interesting what you say about cabana bay. Whilst it looks like a nice hotel the lack of express passes have made me discount that one. My children are older though and we are happy for them to walk to the parks on their own. I think we might give the Royal pacific a try next year.

It was a lovely hotel and so near the parks, I'd go for it.
