We have always used all of ours.
TS credits are easily spent. QS, while we sometimes share every few days we tally up and use any that are over and above what we *should* have left on QS breakfast as opposed to the cereal bars we take with us. SC wise, we've got two kids so cupcakes and ice-creams, plus Starbucks for us and they're easily accounted for. When we're at Disney, we're at Disney. We don't spend days offsite at other parks or loads of shopping where we'd buy food elsewhere though. |

This is definitely true. Last year we had a full kitchen at OKW so made breakfast nearly every morning. Plus there were 4 of us so sharing credits was easier. We had loads left over.

We always use ours - but food and wine really helps us to rattle through them 😁

As 2 adults on DDP we used every single credit and had to pay OOP for a fair few breakfasts as we still ate 3 meals a day. Using all the TS credits was far too easy, the QS credits we stretched out by sharing a couple of meals or by having subbing hotel foodcourt drinks for snacks and making 1 QS credit and 1 snack credit do 2 breakfasts.
I didnt think it was too much food, and we would happily do it again. We had 1 snack credit left after a week. |

Often when I read trip reports with huge numbers of credits left over, there'll usually be several things (drinks are the most common) that are paid OOP as they're a "waste" of a credit. Personally I think a suitcase of candy is a waste so would rather have the drink!
But otherwise I agree that it depends on how many people, which plan and what restaurants. A family of 4+ on QSDP for 14+ nights that are going off-site a lot and/or sharing lots of meals will have a lot more credits to burn through at the end than just DH and I staying for 7 nights with DDP, on-site only and having 3 Signatures in that time. I'm not expecting to have any credits leftover, and even have a couple meals flagged as OOP. Edited at 11:46 PM. |

We only had the QSDP and used all our credits this year - only because we met up with friends 3 times and used our credits to pay for their meals and snacks. We also swapped drinks for sides in POFQ, and used 1 QS for 3 snacks at Amphills Ice Cream shop, Starbucks and at the Food and Wine Festival with no probs. We normally leave about 20 unused credits, so did really well this time.

Yes we do, always have qsdp and always use all the qs credits, kids are teens so we don't share. We did have some snacks left this year now it's gone to 2 a day, ds must try harder to drink more goofys glaciers next time.

We never have any credits left either - we even usually have some offsite meals too.
We've never managed to share a qs meal either - we must be piggies lol |

We did 4 Signatures, and used most of our Snack credits eating round the world at F&W.
We did a spreadsheet before going and updated it while there so made darn sure we used all our credits! I have a suspicion that the posher the restaurant, the smaller the portions. So Signatures are about the same as UK portions (though having said that, we couldn't finish our at Yachtsman). 1TS restaurants are bigger. QS ones often come with mountains of fries. We never found any of our meals big enough to share, though we are only 2 adults so with children it would be different. Also we haven't really experienced much heat. First trip was Dec 2010, minus 2 temps and winter coats most days. Second was Nov 2014, most days 22 but often 16 with cold winds. So we didn't have the 'too hot to eat' problem.
